Farm Credit Administration

An independent federal agency, responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the cooperative Farm Credit System. The System is comprised of Federal land banks and Federal land bank associations, Federal intermediate credit banks and production credit associations, and banks for cooperatives. Initially capitalized by the United States, the entire system is now owned by its users.
